Posted by Jennifer | November 27, 2010, 12:07It’s great that you keep on offering us new opportunities. Some like ‘em and some not – but it’s great to know that they are available for wp.com.
Posted by Netty Gritty | November 27, 2010, 14:17@lilmaouz: Il y aura plus! Bon dimanche etc. etc.!
@Jennifer: If you’re not a fan, then some of the blinkety-blinks I’ll publish next might give you a headache!
@NG: Yes, I wouldn’t ever use all that stuff, but they’re all gadgets I’ve seen users ask for (either in the forum or here).

a quotation from Samuel Beckett about form, chaos, and art.
27 Nov. post. —Just playing around with the way scrolling words add an element of time to ‘print’ in a way different from spoken words.

Posted by RAJA SHIO | January 4, 2011, 05:22Hi and Happy New Year!
@harry: Yes, unfortunately most of these things have a limit to the number of characters they can accommodate. Changing the dimensions changes the overall size only (if the widget is resizable).
@arif & RS: You’re welcome!
Posted by Panos | January 4, 2011, 09:41ok panos thank you
Posted by harrythehandyman | January 4, 2011, 21:18You’re welcome, Harry – sorry I don’t have a solution.
Posted by Panos | January 6, 2011, 16:15Is there any way to get a scrolling message across the header in the INove theme? Thanks for all your great work! I’ve been able to use a lot of your stuff.
Posted by Josh Paunil | July 22, 2011, 19:57No, because it can’t be exactly positioned – see here:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/12/15/position-absolute-pt-2/
Best thing you can do is put it up top in the sidebar.
Posted by Panos | July 23, 2011, 04:49Thanks your response, I appreciate all the stuff you’ve posted on here, I didn’t even know a lot of it was possible!
Posted by Josh Paunil | July 25, 2011, 06:25For some reason the whole message isn’t displayed, only part of it is, is there a character limit or something?
Posted by Josh Paunil | July 25, 2011, 12:29You’re welcome. Yes, most of these gadgets have a character limit. Which one did you try?
Posted by Panos | July 25, 2011, 14:22I tried LCD 1, about to try the rest to see which has the longest character limit!
Posted by Josh Paunil | July 26, 2011, 08:20When I try LCD 3, only the first letter of each word shows up (on iNove), do you know why?
Posted by Josh Paunil | July 26, 2011, 08:31LCD1 seems to be limited to 18 characters, LCD3 to 22. LCD2 seems unlimited. Didn’t try the other three.
As for your second question, I didn’t know but I do now: it displays capitals only.
